We take our name from the rock outcrop where the bungalow is located. Penberry’s old Welsh name was “PEN BIRI,” which translates as “Kite’s Head.” Today, you can see Kites on Penberry rock and it is home to the majestic peregrine falcon, which still nests on the cliffs behind the rock and have done so since the Middle Ages on Penberry Rock on the Pembrokeshire Coast.
